Well the insurance wrote off the 500 now i have a sweet renegade800 :inlove:

This is just before the insurance came and got the 500 had to get a shot of new and old together

I hit a tree back on january 25th, it sucked but i guess things happen for a reason.......eg:new sled :inlove:

did insurance offer you the chance to buy it back,,,, I got to buy one back a few years back for almost nothing,,,,, I fixed it up and a buddy of mine still rides her,,,,

No offer to buy back, but i heard the buy back would have been about $3500 too much for me i like the new sled instead

Nice new sled Did you hit the trees hard or what? I am always affraid of that. I seen my buddy did it and it wasn't pretty. Besides I couldn't afford to buy a new one if I did. :p

i hit the tree hard enough i was doing like 50-60km. yup it sucked :cussing: but at least i walked away a lil sore but ok none the less.......hey slednecker yah the new one is a 800 :devil: at least now i can go way faster to hit the trees, hehe jk i hope

Drinking and riding = death. We saw this when we were up in Hurley, WI back in January fo theis year, he was reported dead.

Yeah that sled looks like it had killed someone. I guess you have to pay the conquences of drinking and riding :withstupid: :wink: . What did he hit a big tree? It's a shame that people go out and do that to them selves riding from bar to bar :slick: . It kind of makes me scared on the trail that you have drunks running around on an 800 :lookaround:.

That mxz looks exactly like mine, before and after. I hit a tree on the same side. No insurance so I bought all used parts and its running as good as ever, except it is now yellow as compared to its previous black condition.
hey fridgee500mxz was there any engine damage besides the pipe?
I'm scared I may have bent the crank, time to buy a few more shop tools!

Hey Saskrider, there was no visual engine damage but it did get reall hot when i rode it home. I guess the pipe being pushed in made the motor run really hot even turned the "Y" pipe off the motor bright red ooops :dazed:

No offense man, I never jumped to that conclusion. I didn't mean for that to be taken that way, I was just showing the wrecked sled I saw this year. Sorry man.
I have hit things with my sled too, Just being sober helps it from being a death.

Thats a write off? Smells a little funny to me. Someone knows someone whos gonna get it cheap and redo it for sale and profit is my bet. Who ever stroked that one is an insurance weasle for sure. Maybe 2 to 3 grand damage and the write it huh?

Hey fennsz and snokid 600 no worries. All is good. SWRules Hey doonut there was 2600 damage not inculding the bulk head and labour. It was all done legit through my insurance company and who ever they use as a appraisal service it was totalyy out of my hands so to speak. Any way i kinda like the gade now :devil: lots of fun

I was at my dealer the other day and I have seen alot of sleds that look just like the same thing happened and are totalled also.

There was a 04 gade X there with $4200 US damage and the insurance company was fixing it. It needed a whole new tunnel and some other things. Now if you ask me that is crazy but the sled is worth over $8000 :crazy: :dazed: .

The gade looks sweet and you will love it compared to the 121" tracks. I have a gade now and will not go back :p . I only have the 600HO SDI but it seems to have great power.

I have seen lots of sleds that looked worse than mine, and at the time i was hoping they were going to fix it, but now that things went the way they did i don't think i will ever go back to a 121" track I absolutly love the gade and the 800 rocks for power ( i am used to the 500 so of course it feels awesome) :devil: How do you like the 600HO SDi, my buddy has a rev 600ho sdi and loves it and, the gas milage is unbelivable. I really haven't had much of a trail ride on mine yet,only got like 375km on it. Oh well it will still be new next year :D
