I believe I have enough tools to fix just about anything on mine or any one elses sled on the trail side: flashlight, pocket torch, some first aid, extra gloves, cloth, duct and elec. tape. This reminds me, I once tied a broken tie rod together with bailing wire and elec tape. I better get some bailing wire in my kit.

Haha thats funny, my buddies say the same thing about me. In fact I have stuff that doesn't even make sense to have. Last winter my brother in law borrowed my sled to go riding with his wife and another buddy who ended up having problems with his rave valves. Ross tells him I'll check Darryn's sled cause he has everything, sure as $&%^ I had what ever it was he needed. The three of them just laughed and laughed and said ONLY Darryn.

I don't keep anything in my rear compartment because, well, there's no room! :cussing: It's a pity that Bombi didn't make the compartment large enough to at least fit a litre bottle of oil. !!! Andy and I both have tunnel bags and in mine I carry my spare belt, spare plugs and a trail map. I still have room for munchies and any clothes I remove during my trail ride. :D :) :D :p

I just carry water back there, the other essentials are in my handlebar bag, my windshield bag or my pockets! :D I always carry a flashlight, an emergency kit, spare gloves, work gloves, a hat, and if we're travelling over ice then I carry Trailblazer's lifeline. Trailblazer has all the tools and I don't leave home without him! :p (at least on my sled  )

Well out in the woods it's "Be Prepared" or Die.

There are a few more things I need to pick up like a quick siphon. Since my Father is a Diabetic I make sure I also carry anything he might need food wise.

Funny thing on his Polaris is a spare set of carbides under the hood.

Let me put it this way, the last time I took my brother-in-law, he asked me if I planned on over-hauling the engine in the woods. Other then that, probably my most prized "tool" is my steel puddy. Here's a picture. It saved my butt more than once. Has a strength of around 800 psi, and I use it over JB weld any day. However, it is not fluid like jb weld. I used it on my motorcycle when I broke of the front brake cable bracket. That led to no tension in the cable, which led to no front break. Miles from no where and I did a quick fix and got my brake working again. I guess if I hadn't been riding over fallen trees, it wouldn't have broke. :)
