just thought id bring this up cuz we were out the other day and my buddy wrecked his sled pretty bad. :( we were riding not far from home so we decided not to pack one. i couldnt think of anything to use so i took my hoody (hooded sweat shirt for the older guys :thumbsup: ) and used that. it held up surprisingly well even towing the viper to the top of this hill in a foot of snow. anyone else use anything crazy??

Yeah me and my friends had to do something like that before, except it was 2 moto-x jerseys to pull my friends dirt bike home that ran out of gas.

My nephew takes his truck out mudding frequently. Once he was stuck in a chug
hole about 3 feet deep with muddy water. His tow strap and his friends were not long enough to reach, so they found a felled tree branch and tied it to each end of
their tow straps. The branch held together and pulled his truck out. T :D

Just this year we had to use two of the emergency starter ropes in our tool kits to get the sled back. I now carry a real tow strap!

we have used the spare belt to get one home, we had to get a 5' branch from a treee and run it through the 1 ski loop, through the belt and then the 2nd ski loop, tied the brocken (2')spare starter rope to the bumper and to the belt and away we went, works great, just make sure the stick u use is tough enough.

There are 2 uses for this item...... preferably not towing as one but booster cables are GREAT !!

The belt from your pants always makes a great tow strap if you forget one. Had to use mine before.
