Been riding a 98 xcr 600 changed to a 98ext 600 IT IS GREAT!!

About time people have started to think right and bleed green LOL. ELK1 you'll love your new ride and can't be the triple 600 engine in your EXT, same on thats in the zert :thumbsup: .

i switched because the xcr did not handle good, it did not ride to back, it was not comfortable for me to ride with no leg room. now the ext handles great it goes great if i could just get the suspension to work right, when I go into a dip in the trails it absorbs good but then it pops back up and pops me off the seat

elk, wlecome abord man....i had 2 98 ext 600 triples. loved them both. won was the triple toruing, and then the year after that i bought a left over single seat ext. man what a power house, at the time a friend had a 98 xcr 600 like you had. i could wax him on any conditions....they do handle nice and once you get that suspension in the rear set up it will be even better......injoy.

how did you have your suspension setup?

i really cant remember......i wiegh a 155 lbs so i didnt have it very stiff. maybe that is your problem, the skid is set to stiff.
