Pertaining to grass drags. Do you guys think sliders and a clipped track, or no sliders and no clips, using more idlers. Which is a quicker set-up? How about studs. T-nuts or push through's? T nuts lighter but push through's stronger? Your thoughts.

My opinion is that you'd have a quicker setup with sliders and a clipped track running with push through studs. *That has worked for me! http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif JMO

It depends on what class you are running as to which track you can use, but if you are running Improved Stock the fastest and the best setup is the windowless track, no sliders and wheels. The best stud setup is too use is Tee nut style chisel studs, 7mm, they are wider across the face and give the best traction and if you are using a 121" track then I would use 5 studs per bar especially if you are going to race COSDRA. *-- *Bill

Bill, running 700IS with COSDRA. Have a clipped speed track and 340 push through chisels. Should I remove the clips? Are the T nut chisels that much better? Thanks.
