I was flipping through the Royal Distributing catologue, and noticed these things called "boost bottles" and I was just wondering where they go, and what they do.

I have not yet tried them but the way I understand it they equalize the intake to perform as one with equal pressure. This article in a magazine said you probly wouldn't notice any difference unless you had other intake mods as well (reeds). They are only 40$ so it wouldn't be a big loss if they dont perform very well.

:withstupid: .. they are mounted on the carb boots (between the air box and carbs)

if your sled was not originally equipped with them you would have to get new carb boots that accommodate for the boost bottles

I've talked to some guys that had them and they weren't very satisfied. They had some performance issues by using them.

My Mach Z comes with a boost bottle as standard equipment. So I am leaving it on there.
