I just had the opportunity to get a look at the 2005 sleds from all four manufacturers. The show was at the Toronto Congress Centre(Ont,Canada). The first sled that caught my eye was the Arctic Cat F7 in the Snow Pro Package. The orange looks awesome. I do have to say though, " does Arctic Cat have a quality control department. Some of the sleds look like they were put together in a kindergarden class, especially the T660 Turbo four stroke. All in all the show was nice for a change, not to busy plenty of room to walk around and sit on just about anything. The biggest crowd was around the Mach Z 1000. It looked sweet, and was comfortable to sit on. The two new models from Polaris, Fusion 900, and the RMK looked good also. Only time will tell how well these new sleds will perform, but one thing is for sure: The prices are'nt getting any cheaper, almost $15,000.00 canadian out the door by the time you load your new Mach Z, or Fusion up. Better start saving....

All of the shows we have hear are at different places and times. The Cat show is on the 11th but I dont know about the others. Just out of curiousity what didn't you like about the T660 Turbo, was it the new ST (red & white)?

I believe that the show is on until Sunday March 7/04. If you get a chance get out there and have a look. Everything is there, sleds, brochures and price lists. It's also free admission which is nice for a change !!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, the model I was speaking about was the red and white T660 Turbo Four Stroke. The fit and finish was the worst I have ever seen in a Cat. I also got to see one at a local dealer here in Ont. Apparently, though the sled is supposed to be very fast and gets about 28 miles to a gallon.

I was at the show. My dealer rep had to clear the crowd around the Mach Z so I could see my purchase. I also got to talk to the OPP about how fast they measured it on Radar.

I spent more time looking at the summit because its pretty much the same as the Mach and there was nobody around it.

I enjoyed going to the show and seeing the new models all though on the other hand I brought the kids down with me expecting to have something for them to do. I did appreciate the free attendance aspect of the show but that was an awful long drive to see models I can go and see at my local dealer.
I guess I will have to wait for the Motorhead show, does anybody know when that is on at the international center

There was no mention of it in the Supertrax magazine that came in the mail today, so I doubt there will be one.

I nly knew of the show when I picked up a '05 'doo brochure on the 28th @ Giesler's on our way to New Liskeard. Very little publicity about it. When I saw the date, I just thought 'doo was having their show there.

On a related note, hopefully the idgits will come to their senses & realise the Toronto/southern Ontario market can't support 2 shows in the same area on the same weekend.

I go to the shows for my map & tourism info, but found some of the booths @ the Int'l center were just filler IMO.
