Hi guys looking for some ideas. I went riding about a month ago and was having some fun when we decided to take a break. Jumped back on my 99 MXZ 600 and fired it up and went to take off and bogged big time. I was puzzled for a minute or two and I checked my tether and it was half off. Put it back on and bang away I went,but the key light is on all the time now. Have put about 300 miles since that day and no problems but the light stays on. Tried my other tether and still the same thing. Any ideas???????????????? Thanks

The only thing I can think is that there some sort of glitch in the circuit ...... wouldn't hurt to swing by a dealer but if it is running and you can bring the tach above 3000 RPM's then it looks like you might be alright.
