No matter how some might think it looks (and I'm having trouble with the looks of the new Fusion too...) why don't we all quit knocking it and give the new kid on the block a chance to prove itself???

Everyone's been knocking Polaris for not having anything new for so long, and now that they've released a new chassis - everyone is nit-picking trying to find fault in it!!

Personally, I think Polaris did a great job with this new chassis - at least from what I've read and seen. Now, let's wait till it gets some serious track and trail time to see if it delivers the performance that it promises.

People always critisize what they're afraid of...Looks to me like it's got the goods to win, and on that race track, isn't that what counts?

Absolutely, may not care for the looks but there is something about it that tells me it's going to do well.

Function over style in racing. Who cares any more what it looks like. A lot of people said the exact same thing about the Rev, including myslef. I could carew less what it looks like. I just want performace. When you're on it riding you can't see what it looks like anyways.

I would have to agree,,,,, it could be the ugliest thing on the face of the earth,,,but if it comes out and outperforms everything out there and basically sweeps the podiums,,,,,what brand will others be jumping to,,,,,

racers are gonna go where they have a chance to win

Apparently they look MUCH better in real life than in the photos - I missed the Toronto show unfortunately.

They sure have a lot of nice features! The adjustable on-the-fly handlebars are very cool, as is the detonation sensor, the dual tripmeters, the tach and speedo peek reading playback, etc.

The price seems fair too -- BUT -- would you trust an unproven engine in it's first year? I think that I would, since their other engines are working so well these days.

I WANT TO RIDE ONE!!!!!!

Kind of looks like one of those little "shark" vacuums.
I agree with the "grows on you" thing. The Rev looks cool now and I'll bet in 5 years that any of the current/older chassis will be quite dated.

I really don't care if the sled is great or not. Since they spent all of there marketing money slamming the other manufacturers I wouldn't get one if it was free. It's a matter of principle. The company keeps knocking off the others equipment year after year and then says that they are superior to the others. Polaris used to be a leader years back but now they are just a follower. They are a day late and a dollar short.

Now that is funny!
Go back andlook at what the add said. It said that the Rev chassis didn't make the most sense for teh average trail rider. That you need to be able to sit back and relax. That's why the Fusion has the Rider Select steering column. It's the best of both worlds.

Well that is B.S. :whatever: If it had no sex appeal I dought any one would buy it. That Sled looked great from the start to me, and I have watch most every ones comments go from "ugly" to well "it's ok" to "Yeah there on the right track".
It ain't no Rev and I am glad of that. I am buying a rev only cause the Fusion did not come in a 600 class. Iwould have been nice to see one.

I stopped at my local Polaris dealer, he was 1 of the dozen or so that went to the sneak peak for the "Select" dealers and he said there are more models coming. It will be a top seller this year and Polaris is going no where but in the right direction. They all look alike to me. shane

Sex appeal? You're getting a little too intimate with your sled, I think :inlove: :D :D :p

IMO it will be a big seller cuz it's something new and a change from the normal polaris sleds. it hasnt proven itself so no one knows what it'll be like. i dont mind the looks of it and i dont love the looks of it. same goes with my rev. i didnt buy my rev for looks, it's about function. i could ride a sled that looks like a POS but if i can ride it faster than my buddies that's all that matters to me. that sled looks like my rev anyways, so only time will tell how it works.

The sad part or parts about the new 900 motor, is it currently does not meet 2006 emissions with it's so called Cleanfire Injection System, and according to Minnesota snowmobiling magazine put out by MNUSA has horsepower only in the 130 plus range. Sounds more like the F-7 motor to me. What a waste of CC's :(

THat's the first I heard of that. I heard that it would meet the emissions standards, and that it would make power similar to a ZR 900.

racing = 95% rider and 5% machine , i really don't think enough people give the credit where credit is due, the polaris boys are good young riders and once they get used to this new machine they will be extremely competitive, like they are now !

Gay, FAg.. there all such derogatry tems to use when describing things.... I happen to have frineds hwo are gay.... and it just sounds plain stupid wen ppl call something gay like this using the word out of context... being gay/bi at elast where i am is somewhat accepted 99% ok ppl witll accept u PERFECTLY just that 1% who are a$$holes to begin with and dont have frineds will trash you... these words from someone who is bi.... o and if its not the word im thinking of... there was a lecture anyweays

Not sure where you got your info from Sharkey but I have not yet seen anything stating it does not meet 2006 emmisions. It is at this time not certified for 2006. That doesn't mean it doesn't meet it. My understanding is that it has not been tested yet. If it has not been tested yet then it is not certified.

i thought it had been certified? to meet either 2009 or 2012 and that was why they didn't put the 500,600,700,800 in there cause there only good till 2006?
