: 2nd Choice
vapourtrail 03-09-2004, 01:51 AM since polls are so popular right now and no one will admit that they are not already riding the best brand of sled.how about your 2nd choice if you couldn't have yours.i have a yamaha right now but my 2nd choice would be ski-doo. :D
northpo 03-09-2004, 04:33 AM I don`t think I`d have much problem riding a ski-doo. I think an mxz might be something to look into :slick:
permafrost 03-09-2004, 05:59 AM This is a tricky Question still powder as up until a few days ago i was only interested in traditional style sleds. I voted Polaris because I am unsure as of yet. After receiving alarming cat scan results a REV might very well be in my future. but for me going from a ZX to a REV is like changing brands.....
Summit 144 03-09-2004, 08:17 AM Snow hawk would be pretty dam cool to have as toy to play with. :D If I had a second sled it would be just for fun. Oh maybe I read the post wrong sorry. :) A Cat would be my second choice I think. I'm pretty cheap so it would depend on the deal I got. :)

if you want that fresh "my back feels great" feeling then a REV is the only option. i have two friends that have taken the year off because their "non REV" sleds hurt their backs.
WickedWiesel 03-09-2004, 09:10 AM I'ld have to say Polaris because they feel the most like a cat.
jtkennedy9 03-09-2004, 09:25 AM Second choice would be a Ski-Doo. I love the new Mach Z.
Little green sixer 03-09-2004, 09:36 AM I like my cat but I have always liked doos too
phat_cat800 03-09-2004, 11:19 AM If I HAD to ride something else rather then a Cat it would be a ski-doo REV for sure, but first I would have to paint it lime green :D .
MXZOOoom 03-09-2004, 11:37 AM Oh! the conFusion is killing me lol
01MxzNightRider 03-09-2004, 01:38 PM I love my MXZ , but if someone was going to give me a second sled to play with I would have to go with a Snow Hawk or a redline just because they are completely different. If I had to choose a second sled that I could actually afford , I would will be honest and I would hop on the 4-stroke band wagon and try a yamaha. :D
dpaige 03-09-2004, 01:41 PM I'd probably go to a Polaris switchback
charlo 03-09-2004, 01:50 PM Firecat
FishHog 03-09-2004, 04:02 PM It would have to be a Yamaha for me. Those 700 triples are bullet proof. Strictly for reliability, I think Yamaha has it hands down.
FishHog
Polaris for me. But i would love to try a snowhawk.
sledhed17 03-09-2004, 04:34 PM if i had to ride something else it would be............... my buddies sled cause he has too many toys that he doesn't know what to do with them.......you know it's not good to just let them sit.......lol.........honestly undecided right now
JasonF 03-09-2004, 04:50 PM Alright, admit it, how many people just picked the brand they already ride on the pole? :p :p
Scott S 03-09-2004, 08:19 PM I can't even decide on a first choice.
As of today (It'll change tomorrow though) I'm thinking a Polaris 02-05 XC SP 600 for my primary sled and a 04 Yamaha Viper S for a second and visa versa.
I'm a groomed trial rider and I want a flat cornering snow hugger with good fuel mileage.
I chose the XC SP and Viper S because they are real good sleds all around. Not the most bleeding edge but comfortable and crisp handling on a groomed trail.
My current XLT Xtra-12 (about 90-95 HP) is very comfy and extremely reliable but I would like more snap and a cleaner turn on the hard corners.
WKinneIII 03-10-2004, 01:35 AM I said Yammy cuase nobody around me rides em, and I would feel so cool on an SRX, personally i think they are the nicest looking machines ever built. I wouldn't mind a light twin, maybe a 440 liquid cooled, with a good suspension to jump alot with, that would be fun.
Wayne
NewfieBullet 03-10-2004, 08:44 AM I said a SNowhawk, cause I really think that's the most fun you can have with an interal-combustion engine. It would be my first choice, but I think my body could only put up with that much fun for so long. It looks fun, but not very versitile.
I'm still suprised we don't hear more about them here on Snowmobileworld.
Steven Hohman 03-10-2004, 03:26 PM If someone twisted my arm, I'd be on a doo in no time. I wouldn't mind a F5-6-7, or even the SabreCat series, and if I were into top-performance sleds, I'd be on the new Fusion.
cat-rider 03-10-2004, 09:04 PM Between doo & poo.Depending on wich of em had a better fan racer.
vapourtrail 03-11-2004, 01:21 AM wait,i think i like the new joker cat now.................. :D
kennypope 03-11-2004, 05:19 AM If I was yanked off a Do, I would have to say Cat. They take sport as serious as Do, allway's trying to move forward......also same commitment to racing.
