can anyone please tell me if the 80 invader has an electric start ?
i'm wonder because with the key one click is run with lights two clicks run without lights and you can turn the key agian and there is a ignition unit on the motor and pluged into the coil. if anyone can help me please do or if there is can anyone tell me how to hook it up

You can get electric start in anything if you want it. Check on the motor right on the muffler side behind the back side of the recoil. Also have seen them on the clutch side, same place. All you would need to get is a battery, a starter motor, and the proper wiring.

the battery or battery cables would be a dead giveaway to me,,,, the liquifire I just did would do the same thing your key start is doing, but it did not have electric start

Electric start was available, but was an option. I had an 81 LTD 4/6 with electric start. Those were the good(?) old days.
