whenever i go anywere i'm using twice as much oil as my friends and it doesn't matter what kind of sled they have. it seems it's running to rich! what can i do?

Ah, your sled is addicted to oil! *Will he admit he has a problem or is he in denile? *Does he sneak swigs of oil when you aren't looking?

Seriously though, you should first check your oil pump and be certain the marks line up. *My guess is you will find your pump is out of alignment. *I believe you have the 488 fan motor in that sled. *Or is it the 440 motor? *Well if its the 488, I used to have a 488 trail and it was very easy on oil consumption. *Check to be sure the marks line up and let us know.

but does it matter what kind of oil i'm using,right now i'm using Motomaster for fan cooled snowmachines

Oil brand/type should not matter.
