I was just trying to figure some stuff out about hay days. Has anyone ever been?? I know its a grass drag race and all, but what else is it. I am thinking about going this year and it would be quite the trip and drive for me to take....Is it worth it??? Is it a good time..should i go???? What do you think???

Thanks, SKI-DOO X

Haydays the worlds largest snowmobile grassdrags and swap mett in the world! You have to go its a great time you can buy or find anything you want to see or find there but I dont think you can see every thing there in 2 days. And yes its worth it

I have been every year since 95. It is definitly a great time. Be prepared for the heat though. It can be plenty dirty as well. If there is any wind it can get dusty along the track. They have sprinklers set up but they dont always work the best.

You have to make a choice, either you roam the 40 acres of swap meet or you can watch the racing. Either way you miss out on the other.

there is also bike and sled freestyle competitions through out the weekend.

This is the largest snowmobile race in the world and is a definet must see. There will be parties everywhere that weekend.

Now i just cant wait. Stop on by our Central Minnesota Speed Association booth with Justice Brothers.

you will not regret it if you chose to come out.

The racing is open to anyone. THey have trail stock for the newcomer to the grass drag scene. Dont enter unless you know what you are getting into, grass drags are probably the most fun type of snowmobile racing. It is tough on the equipment, but you cant beat the rush of lining up against 3 other sleds and waiting for that light to go green. Butterflies in the stomach, oh yeah!!!!! Even if you dont make it to the final, you will be smiling and waiting for the next race. It is very addicting.

the races take place in Columbus township (lino lakes), mn. It is about 30 miles north of Minneapolis.

Oh i know drag racing is great... all i have done it raced on snow....we are actually getting into grass this year....with a MXZ 800 stock, with a speed track....its a very fast sled...we often win the improved class with it, going that fast on a snowmobile is a huge rush...
