I just got a 99 mxz 500 for my wife and I noticed that when it sits on the floor the skiis lean in . By that I mean the inside edge is lower that the outside edge . How much lean should there be and to adjust it do you move the bottom rod to the lower hole or do you adjust the top ball joint out ?

ger,
*you'll have to get a service manual and get into the camber settings.

with the inside of the ski low, that means that you have a negative camber condition. Negstive is much more aggressive than 0 or positive. I suggest you set the camber at zero for your wife unless she is an aggressive rider. You make the adjustment by changing the length of the upper control arm. To go toward positive, you would lengthen the upper arm. Then check your toe out. That should be 1/8" to 1/4" measuring the back and then the front. You need to have a cord pulling the toes of the skiis together while checking this dimension.
Hope this helps. *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
