Here is how our ride in Sandilands went last night. Thanks for all of you in southeastern manitoba for thinking the snow is gone, its nice riding virgin trails this late in the season. Just kidding but you guys don't know what your missing.
Trailered to the ranger station, took groomed trails and lots of little off trails. On the groomed trails there was no less than 5" of snow then an ice base. We even found two spots where we could play in about 3' of snow. there were some slush spots but that was just another place to play. Got to Rosies, it had all been cleaned up. No wood stove inside so we had a fire in the tub outside. We even had races down the hill. I lost so I had to buy when we got to Woody. There was no gravel anywhere we went, including the parking lot at woody. You could almost ride without your headlight as the half moon was so bright. The conditions last night were almost as good as in January.
