shorten up the header pipe, put a couple more base gaskets in to raise the port timing and either split the head gasket if it is a 3 piece ( i cant remember) or have the head milled a little only costs about 50 to 75 bucks to get the head done. This is good for about 10 to 12 horse and it is still very reliable.

This is a question that keeps coming up. Would like to quicken up the wifes a little, but it runs so well I hate to touch it.

yes my old super sport ran amazing but i always thought it could use a trouch more zip... as a friend of ours says if you need a fatser machine buy one dont inker... ehh anyways... you could try a cluth kit on it i ha dthe name of a good one but i cnat seem to find it so thats not much of a help... but its a 550F so im not aware of nay pipes or other items that would be avaliable for it i thin your best bet is to go clutch kit... by the way what year is it? and hwich sled is it? becuase i know my 550 i was bale to crank about 80 out

Thats a pretty impressive increase for a 550 fan. Hate seeing gaskets doubled up though. What was done as far as jetting with the new set-up?
