We will also have a used sled corral. Fee is $5 to put your sled in for sale.

Great way to get Snomobilers to see your sled!

Hi:
Do you have a breakdown of the vintage classes and any rules?
I am the Director of Racing for the Antique and Classic Snowmobile Club of Canada and it is my job to identify opportunites for our members for racing and shows as well as work with organizers to develop vintage classes.
Thanks.
Rob Noakes.

Rob,

As this will be our 1st year doing Vintage classes, we haven't set anything in stone yet. I'll pass this on to our Vintage coordinator and see if we cna get you an answer.

We will also be having a Vintage show/public ballot the same day. I'll post/e-mail more info as soon as I get it.

Fan cooled and Free Air would run together in their CC class.

Liquid cooled would run in the next CC class up with FC and FA sleds.

Some basic safety rules:

Working brakes

Belt guard

Hood secured down

Full mud flap

Full face helmet

Long sleeves and pants

Leather boots over ankles recommended

Tek vest or chest protector recommended

Some basic tech rules:

Any "Gasoline" fuel can be used

No alcohol or nitro blends

No welded skis

I checked with the closest campground-within 10 minutes of the track:

They rent tent sites for $20 per night for 2 people, $3 for each additional person up to 5.

They rent RV sites with full hook-ups for $31 per night for 2 people and $3 for each additional person up to $5.

Their number for reservations is 716-731-3434, Make sure to tell them it's for the Sno-Chiefs Grass Drags/ATV races.

I'll see if I can hook up with the other one close by and get some words out.

Excellent.....we look forward to seeing you! Someone suggested we do more to keep the kiddies entertained, so the parents would be more willing to hang out. Don't know if the clown troupe will be there-never knew clowns were that expensive.........ok, here it comes.....for just clowning around. One said he would work it for tips.......more in our price range.

In the working world, he's my boss, which is fodder for endless jokes.........

how far is it from rochester?

spikegary

Should be less than 100 miles.

Try going to Mapquest (http://www.mapquest.com) and put in 3747 Lockport Road, Sanborn, NY 14132 as your destination. From my house it's like 75 miles to Exit 47 on the Thruway. Also, we're not far from Rt. 104 and Rt. 31.

:D Thanks to all of you that came out and joined us Saturday. The move to our new location presented us with lots of problems, some will take longer than others to fix-we are starting next year's prep with a meeting Wed. night to list the things that didn't work well and put together a plan to fix them.

We got lots of compliments on the event, and Mother Nature smiled on us Saturday. If you made it this year, I hope to see you again next year, if you didn't make it, I hope you will plan on it for next year, we WILL be bigger and better!

Mark it on your calendar: Saturday, October 15th, 2005.
