mxz7: is the body original? I take it that the 'bird doesn't see winter.

Sprint cars on dirt, that's something I'd like to see http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif From where I am to Eldora in Ohio isn't much further than our drive to MIS in June for the 400. Do they have other races during the summer besides the Kings Royal?

I wonder who's going to sponsor it seeing as how Kmart is in dire straits financially http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

rev,
The body has all the original panels, but was painted in '97. No winters for this car.46,000 miles on it.10th Ann. edition. One of 1800 made with 400 *4spd.I think we put 300 miles on it last year. http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif

yes ,earl baltes(eldora) does run more shows than the kings royal.the historical big one is a nice 100,000 dollar payout for the winner and all starters get 1,500,these however do not get the car count that the late model stocks do. they run several all star winged sprint shows,as well as a few world of outlaws shows, and usac non-wing.not sure of the dates but,if you do come down let me know I will try and meet you over there or you could come watch us run on friday and I might be able to join you sat. at the fastest half mile around( track record is in the 12.7's on a 1/2 mile we run 13.04 on 1/4mile)that is only a couple hours from home.we attend the big late model races ,the dream and the world 100,both of these races draw over 100 cars(usually 120+) from all over the country.I do go to a few sprint races over there just depends on our own racing as we do not run 1/2 mile tracks, yet anyway.

If that had been a drag car, your run wouldn't be long enough to check all those gauges http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Ya, Rocketman, that is the truth. *It almost literally takes two people to drive. *One controling the car, and one watching gauges. *Fun stuff http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif *http://www.snowmobileworld.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
