Hi everyone!

I am representing a race organization known as the South Dakota Snowmobile Drag Race Association (SDSDRA). As an association we allow people a place to race in a safe environment. All our races are located in South Dakota & most of them are held on pasture ground or alfalfa fields. Below I’ve included some information on SDSDRA’s history & the upcoming 2004 grass drag schedule. I encourage anyone who is in the area to come to a race and stop by and say hi!

Thanks for your time!

SDSDRA History
SDSDRA has been sanctioning snowmobile ice drags and grass drags for 13 years. Our primary goal is to provide a safe venue for racing that can offer fun for the whole family while supporting the sport we love. SDSDRA is a member in good standing with International Snowmobile Racing (ISR).

SDSDRA held its spring race meeting on Sat. April 24 and set its schedule for 2004. This information will be posted on the website (www.sdsdracing.com) but thought you might want to know right away so you can make your plans!

Date Location/Host

June 26 (Sat.) Clear Lake, SD hosted by the Dakota Trail Blazers. This is a new event for us which will be held at Clear Lake airport in conjunction with the Crystal Springs Rodeo in Clear Lake that weekend as well. (This event will start at 11 AM and registration will be from 8-10AM).

July 31/August 1 Lake Preston, SD hosted by the Town & Country Snowmobile club. This event will be held at the Lake Preston air port west of Lake Preston.

August 14/15 Watertown, SD hosted by the WSDRA. This event will be held in the same location as last year (8 miles north of Watertown).

August 22 Yankton, SD hosted by the Lewis & Clark Winter Wheelers in conjunction with River Boat Days in Yankton. The race site is in a new location this year.

September 4 (Sat.) Estelline, SD hosted by Tesch Inc. This is a new event for us & is being held in conjunction with ''Rock on the River''. After the races there will be 8 bands playing starting at 7 PM. There's camping available on site & showers on site. There will be a camera crew there video taping the whole race.

At this point, all races will start at 1PM with racer registration opening at 10 AM with the exception of the Clear Lake race. I will post information pertaining to each race individually as those dates come near. Watch our website in the coming weeks for any updates or changes (www.sdsdracing.com). It may be down for a week or so as we are in the process of revamping the site! Thanks!

Is your organization upping the limits of cc's for stock classes to 1000? :D

We will only be upping our cc stock class limit if ISR approves some sort of 1000 stock or Open stock class.
