My 2000 K2500 has the 6 L with 3.73s. I could have gotten 4.10s. Right now, the 2002 K2500HD, with the 6 L, the 3.73s aren't available with the 6L, you have to order the 8.1 or the Duramax to get 3.73s.

Wifes jimmy has 3.73 but my big ram only needs 3.55 and still pulls great and gets decent mileage http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

This winter I towed a double enclosed trailer with my sled in the back. No problem on the hills between North Bay & Temagami. Mind you the gas mileage wasn't the best. I don't do a lot of towing. Hauling firewood for the folks is the biggest loads for it.

I had a '94 K1500 with 3.42s & taller tires than this truck. Better mileage on the highway, but I had to put 2 extra leaves on each side so a load of wouldn't squat it down. Heck putting the sled in the back you could see it squat down http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif

Next truck will be a K2500HD http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif
