Hello,
* * I have a problem with my snowmobile.* I purchased the machine in the year of 1999. It was* used TNT Skidoo(70's model), the machine worked great, but I bought my kids some newer Yamahas, and the Skidoo sat for some time, but recently I was willing to keep it going.* I was able to get it fired up, but it runs awful.* It seems to sound fine, but has no correct function.* I personally believe the configurations with the air screws and the fuel screws have been messed with, so thats one thing (engine doesn't seem to produce enough RPM's to active the belt to move), but also, when I throttle the machine in full throttle, the machine will seem to die down, If I press it half way the engine reacts more, and at best I get 10mph out of the machine.* I knew something was up, so I kept off of it until I got some professional help.* Do you think it is a dirty carburetor and some misconfigured air and fuel screws or something much more deeper than that.* Please get back to me as soon as possible.* You can reach me at my e-mail address at sexyslick5@aol.com.* Thank you very much I really appreciate your time, your help will be very useful.
