Hey there boys and girls, I'm preparing to doo some major mods to my sled this summer (not the motor this year) :undercover: and was wondering if any of you guys or girls, jetted down there 04 800 HO's. I'm asking that because I found that the plugs of my sled are crusty, black oily..... ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I run amsoil and yes the oil pump is at it's minimum. I was thinking of jetting down 1 size, what doo you people think?????????????????????????

All sleds are jetted rich from the factory. Does your sled have DPM?

Should be still able to jet down a size or two but make sure you check plugs and piston wash.

Make sure you're beyond the 300-500 mile "burn in" period where the sleds' computer will retard the timing until the chip burns out. Your sled shouldn't oil-foul after that. I almost did the jet-down mistake because this was unknown to me.

PS - If you do jet down, be sure to jet back up in temps under minus 10-15 degrees F or you'll be sorry.
