I'm looking to do some mods this summer and wanted to know what my fellow 800 Ho REV owners have done so far.

What, no one owns a REV 800HO or you just haven't tinkered with it yet? Anyone?

Im in the middle of regearing, adding a 2" paddle track, 8" billet wheels, Ohlins all the way around and im sure a few other odds and ends while i wait for the snow to return. Everything is out and the assembly is on hold until i decide if im gonna order a new MTN tunnel or not.

Ill post some pictures next month when its done.

best bang for the buck....clutching. Get a new Team roller or Hyperlite 2ndry.
Boss high rise flat top seat.....simply amazing
Rox treads and 440 braces all around to strengthen it all up.
Billet bar risers are strong and make stand up riding even better.
SLP side panel airbox cover to keep out the snowdust.

Good luck and have fun.

Had a aftermarket head and it made 0 difference, the timing cure is different on the 03 and 04 making a head change unnecessary. Sled Head has a 830 kit that get 155 hp with a piston change and porting, it also elimitates the ring problem. Get the crank trued as many are breaking rods because the crank is out of phase.

Jawz added a low winshield and ugly hand guards. It's actually slower because more of his fat A$$ is showing.

I'm actually studding it this summer for a little better traction, a little more expensive on the 03 for the tunnel protector kit, but there has been more then a handful of times when I needed studs due to low snow coverage and ice.

I put the summit highmark 800 HO head on my 04 XPS and it really made a difference. It takes the compression ratio up to around 13.25:1 so I add a little octane boost to every tank of 93 I run on the trail. I haven't had a problem yet and it gives a ton better thorottle response.
