Im looking for a sled that can ride good on the trails and somewhat good in powder, also. How is the switchback? What other sleds should i look at?

Thanks

Added: How would just a regular 800 XC do?

Switchback all the way in my book for a cross-over sled. I've heard nothing but good stuff from Switchback owners. Depends on how much you want to spend, and how much bite you want your track to have too.

I agree with Snow-Drift, but I also feel that the MXZ Renegade is another good sled to look at. He is right, it is all what you want to spend. A stock 121" sled with a deeper lug track (such as 1.5" or so" would be good if you spend most of you time in the trails. To be honest, I would look at the Renegade or Switchback with a 136" track. Both a good choice.

Aspin, how much powder will you be riding. i had my f6 with the 1.375 track out in some nice powder early this last season and it wokred real well. i would think the ext 144" would also be very good, but i am unsure of what the 144 would handle like on the trials. Just a thought.

on one of my old sleds I had a 136 with 1 inch paddles it took me every where I needed to go in the powder and was still good on the trails.
