Im just getting started in drag water crossing.I have a 2000 mxz 700 and need help on how I should set the sled up. The sled is 100% stock, have a silencer and reverse on it.has a 3/4 inch track.Any advise would be greatly *appreciated.
Chaser, from my experience, you don't need to do anything except maybe block air vents. Just squeeze throttle and go. I'm not sure but I think lowering gears is a good idea too since water has more resistance than snow.
I also have a question about wattercross, what's the effect of higher lugs? would a summit perform better than a short track?

In the Ski-doo forum, on the second page right now, there's a great, lengthy topic called "set ups for water crossing." *It's got a lot of great advice, much of it from the expereinced Idooski.
