Good day at Esky's on Sunday. Reported 68 sleds registered to race. 8 or 10 of those were Vintage. I haven't got all the results but will try to update at least the vintage classes if I can get them.
I took three sleds and ended up being the only three in the Vintage 340 class. Had two other drivers so we at least put on an all Élan show for the crowd. It never ceases to amaze me with all the great looking sleds that are at these events, how many people stop to look and talk about vintage sleds every event we attend.
Of note besides my three was a 72 650 Thunder Jet, a 77 RV with a 440 Sno Pro engine, a very nice 79 440 SRX, a custom built El Tigre with a 503 F/C engine in it and a Ski do mod sled not sure of the configuration as well as others.

Here are our times and calculated speeds for the heats. Note how close the 292 single cylinder and the 300 twin are in the first heat. The guy riding the 292, on the left with the white stripe on the hood, was about 40 lbs heavier than the guy on the 300. Just wait until the 292 gets broken in!!

On a personal note, I want to thanks Johnny and Elvis, two guys I work with, for driving from K-W area all the way down to Ridgetown and spending the afternoon with us and driving our sleds.
