: Etrex Legend Dash Mounts?

I've decided to get the Etrex Legend from 'GPS City' and I want to get a mount for my sled. I drive on and off trails, so sometimes it gets alittle bumpy, so I want this mount to be rigid and stay in place. Any suggestions? Aluminum versus Plastic, handle bar mount versus mounting on dash, long arm versus short arm, etc. 'GPS City' has some mounts, anyone buy one of these mouts for the Etrex series?

I don't have a quad yet (I use my father-in-laws quad for now), but I'll be getting one when my sled is paid off. So moving it from one vehicle to another would be nice.

Any help is appreciated...

I bought the Garmin auto mount and it works very well. I also bought a second base plate for it so I can also mount it on my ATV. It's held up very well. The only issue is that if it's not running off of DC power from the sled or bike, the vibrations cause it to loose power and turn off. I'm not sure if this is an internal problem or because the mount secures to the battery cover. I can't imagine it's because the the battery cover vibrating, must be a problem with the battery contacts that I can't see.
