Which roller cover is recommended to tweak the secondary clutch on my sled?
Facts:
2004 AC T660 non turbo (not new style secondary clutch)
D&D Helix 72-44 replaces stock 70-35
Lencco Shim Kit
Agressive trail rider.
Choices:
Lencco lighting shift roller cover (with extender)
Micro Belmont slick shift roller cover
HotSleds.com Hyperlite Secondary
PURE PRECISION ROLLER COVER (Black Magic)
Others
Thanks,
Edited for clarity and added Hyperlite and Black Magic to list.

Go to the snowest site and click on performance/modified and find the thread on the Hyperlite secondary, you will find it quite interesting. Awsome secondary!

Wow!! And I forgot about them!!
Very impressive secondary. Though $350 is a major upgrade money wise, last time I asked for a quote on another of their product, they reduced that item by 25%. I'll email them and see they offer the "summer" discount.

Update:
The Hyper-Lite secondary quote for an AC T660 from Performance Engineering is $400. :cussing: If I had a racing sled, I would consider it. But for trails and lakes, changing the helix costs around $50. A cheap mod.
Changing the stock roller cover to a Lencco (with adapter) will add $200. Likewise Micro Belmont's slick roller would add $150. I'll keep the stock roller cover for now. Either choice = > total cost $200+ or half of the Hyper-Lite. Maybe for my next sled, add the Hyper-lite clutch. :sarcasm:

Cant remember the Co. that sells the Hyperlite directly without going thru my notes but they were selling it this spring for $262.00 and all A.C. helix's will fit.
It's nothing more than a fancyier Cat clutch but for any other brand like my Skidoo it is a direct bolt on item, no changing the jackshaft as before and a simple change of the inner hub makes it fit ANY sled!

$262 is more reasonable than $400. The Lencco roller plate and adapters would run $200 plus the helix I already own to total $250. The difference is just a whole new clutch for about the same price.
I'll go with $50 investment on the replacement helix already made and use the stock AC roller for now.
Mikadoo if you do come across it in your spare time, it will be appreciated.
