My wifes 4Stroke has a problem with the temp gauge rubbing on the intake manifold, it has shorted the wires to the temp gauge and has rubbed so there is almost most a small hole in the manifold. My dealer has the sled now and the best they and Arctic Cat have come up with so far is to put spacers under hood to jack it up. So much for a nice tight fitting hood, I have told them that I will not accept this fix. Has anybody else had this problem and if you have how did you correct it.

Cat has finally agreed to replace the hood on this sled so the dealer can relocate the temp gauge in a higher position. This will eliminate the problem of temp gauge rubbing on the intake manifold.
