I have a AC Powder Special 600 efi LE and I was looking at the wiring for the kill switch. There is a Brown/Purple/Black&White. The Black&White was cut and had shrink wrap on it to keep the wires covered. I was wondering what that wire does and if it should be sodered together? I just found out the stator is burnt and I need to replace with a new or rebuilt. Has anyone had luck with a rebuilt on a EFI and if so where did you get it done. THANKS for your help.

sounds like you should invest in a shop manual. it will come in handy for more than this problem.
