Driving home tonight at 10 oclock talking with the wife, there is a thunder storm going on and a little rain, heat lighting ect. we are talking about such and such , oh ship. A small little nub buck with velvet on his little itty bitty horns bursts out of the ditch and slams into the pride and beauty. our 00 olive green suburban. Second deer on the same road in two years. on the same side. Now i do not know about the rest of you but we have been seeing to many deer in the last few years around here . the winters have been so nice that their is very little winter kill.

Last year we were able to get five mangment tags. This year i will make sure the wife get her tags as weel and i shall thin the deer heard .

Yeah man, i smoked a deer on friday with my beast. Did more undercarridge damage than cosmetic, but now i can't drive it, stupid deer ripped the brake lines.

I've had some close calls but haven't hit one yet. And if I ever hit one and it doesn't die i'll get out and make sure it's dead.

i have yet to hit a deer but have had a few close calls. Deer dont seem to be much of a problem in our area. You hear about it, but the deer population is not overpopulated so it very unlikely you will even see a deer while driving in most areas.

Hit a few myself. Not on purpose of course. Thats where a big a$$ bumper comes in handy. The ones that tick me off are the ones that for some strange reason run into the side of your vehicle. On a side note I hit two wild dogs a couple of years back with a 73 Plymouth I had. They came out of the ditch and I just didn't have much of a chance. Hit them and did a couple of 360's before i came to a stop in the ditch. Car wasn't too bad. One flat tire and a dog wrapped around the front suspension, lost all my belts and for some strange reason I lost almost every drop of oil in the engine. Could never find a whole of leak but I needed to add 4 lt of oil to it. Stange.
Bauer looks like your not having any luck with that truck of yours. First it gets keyed. Now you hit a deer. Maybe you should just give it to me.

They are getting very bad in my area right now! I've hit 5 so far. Plus this weekend we had one run right into the side of the car trailer and kill it. They are very thick and won't stay out of our crops right now, we've been shooting to scare them off. The GF&P officer brought some exploding shotgun shells to shoot at them and scare them away now. They are awesome!!!!! :D

Andy, reminds me of the time a buddy of mine (who is a cop and always packs) hit a little doe with his truck. Got out to check it out and of course still alive and kicking with a couple broken legs. So he does what any gun loving american would do-- emptys a 15 round clip into it. Just as he finishes up an older couple rolled up and asked if they could have it for the meat. He of course says yes. Man I bet they chewed on more then one hunk of lead. Kevin

You said it man. Not the beasts week. I will give you my truck :D And seeing as your are having no luck riding your sled these past couple of months, and most likely for the next few, i will take it off your hands  , but you will have to pay me quite a bit of cash to boot to store that garbage
