I was just looking over my sled and noticed that the front springs have been rubbing against the reservoir on my shocks. *It took the paint off the springs and made flat spots on the reservoir where it rubbed. *It looks to me that the casting of the shock may be screwd up. *The reservoir is angled towards the spring. *Just wondering if any other owners have noticed this?

I have an 02 MXZ800X with the front piggy back shocks. I had put on the Ski Doo shock covers on the front when new and now with 1015kms on it the covers are worn thru between the resovoir and springs.

Same as bobber except I have 2000 miles on mine. I haven't *checked for real wear on the reserviors yet. I'll be checking thay in the next few weeks. As I tear everything down for inspection.

I've noticed that on all the models with piggy-backs. Don't think its a huge problem though, I've never heard of them wearing all the way through so let me know how yours turns out.
