I have a 95 Vmax 600 and want to know if anyone has installed handlebar risers. The cables seem kind of short.

How tall did you go?

i know on the newer yamahas about 3 1/2, to 4 inches is all you can go without having to buy the extensions... thats plenty of room IMO.


but thats only the 97+, im not sure if the cables are all the same on the vmax or not.

Do you remember what kind they were? Did it handle better?

I think it was powermadd,,, I still have it here, so I will try to remember to check it tommorrow and let you know for sure,,, I wont say it made it handle better, but it was a lot more comfortable,,,, also made standing up quickly a lot easier,,,,
