When greasing the speedometer drive adapter, is it normal to have grease come out the backside of the assy?(where driveshaft goes thru the inside of the tunnel) Thanks.

You may get a bit, but what I do is before every season I take the speedo adapter off and clean it out and regrease at that point. *You get alot of dirt in that adapter.
