I just changed my drive chain on my 2001 ZR600 EFI and was wondering if anyone has the torque specs for tightening the nuts, both on the gears themselves and on the chain case cover.

I believe on my 97 zr, it was 55 ft lbs on the gear nuts, can't remember on the case nuts.

Just checked my 98 ZR 600 EFI manual, which should similar, and it states:

35-40 ft/lbs for the gears.
12-15 ft/lbs for the case cover bolts.

Don't forget the red Loctite on the upper gear threads!
