Hello All,

The Yamaha forum has been a bit of a yawn since all the precious snow has melted. I guess there's not much going on in any of the other forums either. I hate to say it, but I kind of miss the heated debates we used to get into around here about the 'RX-1 ton' and his big brother the Warrior. Where are all the nay-sayers?? On holidays? What do I have to do to stir up some action around here? We need to find something to pass the time till Old Man Winter shows his smiling face again.....

what do you have to do?,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,this, f7's arent really that fast, yammi doesnt make that good a sled, polaris sleds are total junk and skidoo's rule the snow....lol that should probably do it hossman! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :p :p  w00t

puree

I would have to say that would do it,,,, coz them f7s are fast as h*** yami makes a fair sled,,,Polaris is horrible ,,, and ski doos never seen anything but my taillight (if they even started)!!!!!

Now, if yours didnt get everyone going,,,, mine will!!!!

by the way, this post is meant for humor,,,,

have to agree though hossman,,, its been really dead in all the forums,,,

O.K. Tag my hand-I'm in. Yamaha's are the new king's of the snow. F7's are at the dealer getting their 123rd recall item fixed, Polaris is still trying to work out how to add shock absorbers to their suspension (the part time guy that runs R&D is really pulling his hair out) and Doo is still trying to figure out how to make a better TV commercial than Arctic Cat-they have no time to worry about snowmobiles.

Dear Moderator: This is really all in fun-the Yamaha Forum really has been sleepy lately.......

Well I guess I will Play since somebody has to defend the best of em all! First off Yamaha is losing their mind trying to remember which engine goes on the bike and which on the sled, both weigh to much to ride anywhere. Arctic Cat is just now realizing that their sleds are the ugliest color known to man, (Recall #187 Bring all sleds in to be painted any color other than #### Green!) As for Doo they are still tryin to figure out what to call their company with the new owners, as well as working on that ring problem, think they are experimenting with styrofoam rings now... Polaris is just sitting back waiting for the other manufacturers to realize that they make the best sled on the face of the earth PERIOD. Guess Just me and the Slednecks Realize which sled is actually built for the snow.

Ok now the commotion is on its way.

now now,,, I have to tag back in for one more go around,,,,
ok ok, maybe my f7 did go in for its 213th recall yesterday, and that skybluepink paint job they put on it makes it look like the new doos,,, but anyhow,,, its still the quickest thing on snow!!!!

as for polaris research and development,,,,oxymoron

and back to my f7/rx1 race,,, well off the line its not contest,,, the skis on the rx-1ton sat long enough with all that weight on em,,,they are planted in the ice now,,,,,

funny,,,,,, we have everyone represented here!!!!

let the games continue,,,,, im out, whos in next!!!

what i want to know hossman is what doo you feed those little squirrels running in that wheel under your hood?
PUREE; pushing your sled off a cliff doesnt count as an acceleration test!!!!!!!!!!!!!(this is the only way it will beat a doo)
as far as polaris goes the r+d guy musta been sleeping last yr for lack of original ideas they had too steal doos look from the rev and call it the fusion, well set-point-next!
ps guys i am playin so please no offense. this site is a great stress releiver for me and your all a great bunch of folks.

naw naw,,, I didnt get my top speed that way,,, I did it with the sled in the back of the truck,,, and by golly, I passed EVERY doo, poo, and yami all the way up there!!!!!
I think hossman carries those circus peanuts in his trunk for those squirrels,,,,
and I have to agree that the fusion is a stolen idea,,, but I wonder who they really stole it from,,,,

Hossman I cannot believe that you forgot to add, best rear skid frame, lightest weight, Sno-X champ. Looking at there advancements I would have to say it all started with the almighty pogo stick front end :p

Hey - don't laugh. I hear through the grapevine that Yamaha is coming out with a sled to compete in snowcross this year.... and you guessed it - the return of the TSS - Telescopic Strut Suspension (better known as PS - Pogo Stick).

REV what??

:D

had too steal doos look from the rev and call it the fusion

Everyone wants the fusion to be a rip off of their sled, just cuase it is perfect. Come on guys it says Polaris right on it, as much as you wish yer Fire kitty's and Rev's are realated to it, THEY AREN'T!!! And take it easy on Poo's R&D guy, he just spent two years in rehab. But hey 2 years is little wait for a perfect sled... Cat and Doo, R&D sure now if only they tested those piles of junk... lol No need to bash Yami though, I have one of their Keyboards... :p

Hossman,,, I think I heard the same rumor you did about yamaha coming back to snowcross,,, I guess as soon as they get the green paint off them and paint them blue, they will be sending them out to their racers,,,, I guess if you cant beat em, you join em!!!!

Wayne,,, wonder if the poo r&d guy spent them 2 years in there for,,,, oh,,,, must be that he couldnt design anything that would catch the ol green boys,,,, guess he lost him mind!!!!

hey hossman,,, the zrt is running again, and I should have the freshly painted hood back in a few days also,,,, I will get my decals put on it and post pics of the rebirth of the zrt nightfire!!!!

Glad to hear that the ZRT is alive and well. I wasn't sure if I'd crossed the line or not with that joke.... these things can be pretty touchy sometimes. Hey, if you can't look back and laugh about it, what can you do? Looking forward to the pics......

I had a buddy who also learnt that fire and gasoline don't mix, only his tale is more deserving of a Darwin award. While fueling up his sled, he wanted to see how close to full the tank was. I think you can guess the rest of this story.... out comes the cigarette lighter. Not only did he manage to set the fuel in the tank on fire, but the end of the filler nozzle as well..... Thankfully, my friend is still alive, and if I remember right, he managed to fix the sled too. The strange thing is, this particular guy has a real good head on his shoulders... goes to that we all have our moments.

I agree with you 100% and you started this thread as 100% entertainment,,, no offense is meant towards anyone,,,, we all like our sled better than the next guy,,, heck, if I honestly didnt think cat made the best sled, I would be riding a different one and we all feel the same,,,, but man this is an awsome stress reliever and its turned into the best moving thread on swworld the last few days,,,,,

The usual suspects are here and most of us have a sense of humor.....at least some of the time. As long as everyone agrees that Yamaha is the best and everyone else is an also-ran. :hallo1:

Anyone coming to the Big East Show in Oct.? Our NYSSA booth should be up and running.

Hey, we've gotta do something till the snow flies.... And Gary's 'hit the nail on the head' (as Mighty, our Yamaha Ambassador would say) with his statement that it's all funny until someone bashes a Yammie... then it's war!!! :D

So, how about we all meet at the Big East Show, sporting our shirts (courtesy of Jeff) and continue this ribbing in person??? Or we could just drink beer and talk snowmobiles... whatever.

if I wasnt working, I would ride along with Jeff and do just that,,,, would need to get me a tank top though,,,that sweat shirt would be a tad bit hot for this time of the year!!!!
