Is there anything that can be put on a tack with mild dry rott? *I guess i'm wondering if there is anything I can put into the cracks (like a rubber filler) to prevent water from entering the track or at least is there anything out there to soften the track and prevent dry rott from expanding?

If it is a newer sled with some horsepower I'd replace the track. *My boss and me went riding 2 years ago and he had mild dry rott on his 92 Indy 600, by the end of the first night his track blew and rolled up and smacked him in the back of the helmet and back. *It also ripped off his rear bumper, snowflap and taillight. *It didn't tickle with the studs but it was fun to see him try to wrestle the sled to a stop with no brakes going around 90mph.

Pick up a new one or a good used on. *The chances are you will end up blowing the track and ruining your weekend. *It will most likely turn into a L--O--N--G walk. *http://www.snowmobileworld-s2.com/forums/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
