i have a 01 mxz 700 and was wondering about shaving the coupling blocks or the rubber stops to get some more weight transfer for a better hole shot gain. anyone have a opinion?

Clutchman we removed the rubber blocks and machine 3/8" off the aluminum rail and then reinstall the rubber stop and this should give you as much transfer as you need. *-- *Bil

I have seen and removed the portion of the rear stopper at the cast/flashing line.if I needed more transfer I turn the stopper up and out of the way.
