just brought home my goalie pads for this season. I figure sense i am not going to school (long story) i am gonna buy new pads. :D If you play hockey you can appreciate how sweet these babies are. they are Koho 580's, most popular pad on the market right now. Warn by many pro goalies and they only wear the best. I get to try them out for the first time tonight. I bought new pads 4 yrs ago and its just like snowmobiling, the technology advances so much in just a couple yrs. anyway here is a pic. :D

Sweet! What's a set of pads like that cost? If you don't mind me asking.

kowalcs....1700$ cad is retail, i got them for 1500 tax in. which seems to be as cheap as i have seen them.

:ohmy: I figured they were up there in price. If my kids ever get into hockey, let's hope they don't want to be a goalie!!

very, true kowalcs, you can spemd 5000$ in pro goalie gear pretty quick. was looking at a new Vaughn trapper which just came out, 530 $ just for a gloove. :bash:
