have a 1996 thundercat 900 and 2001 thundercat 1000, when i go start it it won't pull over but when i leave it for about 6 hours or intill the next day it will start, their was no spark when it didn't fire up but when i comeback to it their is a spark, asked the dealer if it could be a stator problem, he laughed and said that it shouldn't be it, this just started doing it last winter its been showing up on both the t-cat, i have no idea what it could be

i also have a 1996 Tcat and i had this same problem. Mine was the stator but before you replace that you can bypass the tps and coming out of the stator there is also a 4 prong plug, disconnect that and clean it real good the use dyelectric grease if that dont work i would go with that darn stator i believe they can test it right on the sled.
