hi everyone, i had a few questions about adding some accessories to my 02 mxz8x. first is adding a temp guage, what does this entail, and does anyone know how much? second is adding a jack for a heated shield on my helmet, which color wires do these plug into? i just got a couple new sled mags in the mail and was flipping through the new buyers guide and decided to hold out and wait another year before buying a new ride, i figured i could put some addons to my current sled.

I put an electric shield outlet on my 02 it didn't require any splicing or nonsense like that it's just a small connection between two existing wires that allows you to plug in the 2 wires for the outlet. very easy instructions will make it even easier!!
The colors should be black and red just match the 2

I put the electric fuel and temp gauges on my 02 MXZ 800, each individual kit was about $100 if I recall. You need to change the sender on the engine and cut out the dash panel for the gauge and then wire the gauge in, the instructions are pretty accurate. On a 1(easy) to 10(difficult) scale its maybe a 2. The gauges are a great mod, and the temp gauge is alot more useful than the hot engine idiot light.
