well i just got back from my holidays yesterday. took a week off work and went up to my buddies cottage just outside of Haliburton, on redstone lake. horrible weather for the whole week except the day we were leaving. :( another friend of mine let me borrow his 04' raptor since he never rides the stupid thing. we rode around his place for a bit to get the feel for the trails and then worked our way down the hydro lines and down logging roads. i had a ton of fun working that raptor up some of those hills and through some of the trails with water that was a couple feet deep. this raptor has some 25" rampage tires on the back so she'll claw through most stuff. not much wildlife to be seen tho... but we did see bears at the dump. :D we took the hydro line all the way to whitney and then turned around and came home. we needed to go to the northwood in town before it was getting too late. that beer was just calling our names so we couldnt resist. :D we'll be heading up in the fall so hopefully we'll get some more riding in. whoever lives in that area are lucky people for unlimited riding areas. sorry i lent my digi out to my brother who is in Europe for 5 weeks so no pics. sorry guys. :( next time ill have some for u tho!! :)

We consider ourselves fortunate, of having all these riding opportunities. You should bring the sled up this winter and try it on the snow w00t SWRules

That sunday was a punch in the nuts wasn't it... I have a trailer up in Haliburton myself and the week was a huge let down. Got some golf and what not in on Sunday though.

I'm going atv'ing in the area in a few weeks. Will have to head up that way and check it out :)

oh ill be up there many, many times with the little 440 this winter. some of the hill climbs on the hydro line look like they might be crazy when they get a few feet of snow on them. :D

where abouts did LadyK put the 500 in?? was it near the narrows where it's fairly shallow?? the guy who lives on the lake said that there's usually some decent water crossing through there.
