:cussing: I cannot seem to remove my secondary clutch off my 90 indy 650. I have tried everything except beat it off with a sledge. Does anyone have an idea?????

Tip the sled on its side and spray a good dose of spray penetrant(PBBlaster) in the hole where the bolt goes. Let it set over nighit ,rotate clutch 180 degrees and spray again. The clutch is just rusty around the keyway and shaft and this will help you when you do get the hammer out.

what he said, hope the soaking works.or the sledge will be coming out.

keeping the shaft greased is so much easier

On my old sled I use to take it off once a year and grease it.

Good luck.

Spray some lube in there then hit it with a rubber mallet. This is common if the clutch isn't pulled off in a while.

We had a b!tch of a time with a Cat clutch last year. We sprayed it many times. MAP gas worked the first time.

MAP gas......sits right next to the duct tape. We use it all the time! lol
