we take our boys weekend up there on the labour day weekend and we usually end up at the bar there. i was told by someone who was up there earlier this summer that the bar had been closed down. i'm not sure if it was for repairs or closed down completely. it's gunna be a dull weekend at night if we cant go spend a couple grand at the bar. :( does anyone have any info??

The Havelock Hotel is closed. I was by there during July. If you'll be north of town, you can always check out the Twin Lakes Hotel on County Rd. 46. It's a dump, but at least the beer is cold.

Wow racer, the Hotel is a pretty rough place, I don't know if you'd find me there... :lol:

You should head up to havelock this weekend, there's a little bit of a party going on..... :lookaround:

dont dump and cold beer go hand in hand? :huh: most of those little town places are dumps but we make a good time out of it. any other suggestions for stuff to do?? anyone live near that area that wants to have a party?? :D j/k
