Hey everyone, Im proud to announce this is my first post. I was wondering if anybody out there has a MBRP silencer on their sled, particularly if it's an F7 because I'm bidding on one right now and I wanted to know a little about them. :dazed:

hey i have a sno-stuff silencer on my 04 f7 and just love it, pretty sure that all the add on silencers are pretty much the same in performance and weight, but the noise might be different, i went with sno stuff since it was cheaper, wait until u have to put the silencer in and take the stock one out, u will be serprised on how much the stock silencer weighs(heavy) also makes a lot of room under the hood, so a person can get to the oil caddy easier if they got one

Hey sledhead, I brought up the conversation of an mbrp silencer on the Ski-Doo side of the forum and a few others ended up making a big posting about the criticism of the noise some aftermarket silencers make. The ones that like a good/loud sounding silencer will say mbrp are good...others that do not like the noise will say they are obnoxious as hell. I personally like the sound of a good aftermarket silencer. Go with the mbrp.

I have an MBRP silencer on my ZRT and the quality, fit & finish are all great and an awsome sound. They are much lighter then the stock can but dont expect any power gains from it. I have a sound clip of an F7 with the MBRP can on it, but I will need your email address to send it to you.

I have the MBRP can on my 03 F7 -it sounds great, it is a bit on the loud side but that is why I bought it, where I ride sound is not really an issue. It looks good, fits nice and saves weight. I never noticed any power increase/decrease.
