Hey guys, iam in a bind and am looking for suggestions. I have a 96 vmax 600 and had some small things nothing mechanical all cosmetic tthat needed to get worked on. I stripped the hood and gauge cluster out to have a friend fix the damaged hood that had a big crack and a nasty hole in the rear corner of the hood. Sled was running prior to removal of the hood and would start if it had been sitting for 3+ weeks in about 10 pulls. I put everything back together cannot get her started, killswitch is not engaged, sh has fuel and oil . Any suggestions to a newb please help. And yes the key is in the run position. Whil the repairs were being done she wasnt started for 2 months. Please help before i do something drastic. :bash:

hey man, sounds electrical to me. start with the basics. haul the plugs check for spark & compression. then check and make you have fuel, usually by the condition of the plugs. if you have suffient spark put some gas(mixed) down in the cylinders, with an eyedropper or something but not to much to foul the plug. if it starts and shuts off after a few sec's, it could be a fuel problem
