Just a "log" to throw into the oil selection fire. I see in the current issue of Snow Tech, there is an article extolling the virtues of "Fowler 2 Cycle Extreme Oil". It is a semi-synthetic. Has anyone in the mid-west heard of or use it?

I've seen the oil, but never tried any yet.
Fowler is a snowmobile warehouse outfit in Bloomington, Minnesota.

I saw it advertised last year. The name makes ya wonder a bit, as who would call a 2 stroke oil fowlers, lol. It seems to be reasonably priced, low smoke and a super low pour temp. Sounds good here

I have heard of good reports regarding Fowler oil. No problems and quite inexpensive. I think it would be worth trying. :)

Never heard of it, but I have seen it. Everytime I change the oil in the wife's Sable wagon. Anybody who wants to try some in their sled, they're welcome to it for free. That IS the ultimate F... word to a Dutch person!! :D
I know, it's just a play on words, but somebody had to doo it!
