To Have an aim I would need to be on AOL wouldn't I? If that is true my nearest server for AOL is more than 40 miles away and since I have a Dial up that would be long distance on top of my server charges. *Unless there is another way to have AOL with out haveing to pay for their service on top of my regular sevice.

I was using icq but i have switched to Messenger, The good thing about messenger is when you format your compueter you dont have to add all your buddies to your list ! mesenger keeps them on the server. Since i have messenger it has never been down.

Ya, what's more, AOL Instant Messenger and Netscape Instant Messenger are the same program, so use either one.
