Does anyone know of a better way to change the oil filter without draining the oil tank completely, its a pretty tight working environment even with both carbs and air box removed? You can't block the line from the tank because of the spring inside the oil line and you better be quick changing the filter, if there is any oil left in the lines, it makes quite a mess under the motor. other than draining the tank you better be fast.
i use the oil pump made for the lower unit of outboard motors to pump out the resevoir.it goes pretty quick

Be sure there are no air bubbles when done!!
