I heard that Mario Lemieux got into a fight. What's up with that? Also, what's up with Draper and Maltby not playing? I could understand Maltby, but Draper is a Selke award winner. That just makes no sense. No matter what team Draper is on, he should be on the friggin' ice.

kowalcs, mario did get into a little scrum. just shows that his heart is in it and the rivalry between Canada and the States. as far as draper not playing, well that just whows canada's depth and talent that they have to sit out a player of the caliber.

Good game, Eshc (not sure how you spell) stood on his gead. lucky for USA or it could have 3 or 4 - 0 in the first. Being a goalie i enjoy seeing a guy play like that, even if it is on the other team. :D

Dawg, i think Broduer played better, and after the second period it could have been 4-4

willy, i will give it to Brodeur, he also played a heck of a game. Specially when US started playing and putting the pressure on. He made a few key stops but Esch stood on his head in the first period. He made at least 4 saves that could have easily been goals. I didnt mean to say Brodeur was out played, just that esch gave his team a fighting chance. For a goalie its a heck of a lot harder playing strong early in the game than it is after 30 minutes when you have settled int, and your nerves arnt so bad, and all the hype has left. I guess thats why they call themselves pros.
